I got a local award winning artist to do his personality-filled cats on 3 pillows, dated and signed, too!
No two are alike, each is hand drawn with a black permanent art marker. Notice that one has the design off to the side leaving you room to use your smaller bench block on the clear area.
The design is drawn on smooth leather, the backs of each are suede to help keep your pad in one place. Sand filled and very handy, sure to put a smile on your face every day.

2 Styles-Woven and Printed
Just a quick post here….I got my new labels!
2 styles, from 2 different sellers on etsy. The first style is woven or embroidered so the colors are bright!
The second is printed and as you can see, the colors are not so bright. Nor is the printing as big, even tho’ they used the same 300DPI JPEG.
Still, these will be the labels for my new bench block pads.
And I’m coming up with a surprise! A local award winning artist has agreed to do a few limited edition pads, one of a kind pads, with his signature cat cartoons, very cool!
As soon as I have some, I’ll post photos and have them on etsy. A portion of the sales of these will go to the local help-the-cats organizations. Of course, a portion of the sales already goes to these places, that’s one reason I sell on etsy. To give more to the local shelters.

Here’s the biggest bench block pad I’ve made to date, black suede, 8 inches across and filled with BBs. Shown next to the usual 6 inch round, little sister.
It’s a custom order, wonder if the artist realizes it weighs almost 7 pounds?
Pretty heavy and dangerous if it falls on toes or gets throw about. But also a great solid piece of equipment for a jeweler’s workbench, don’t you think? Great for holding steady a larger size bench block or anvil, or even dies and cutters.
I just got a limited number of these done, only 5, for Autumn!

After a year of making and selling round bench block bags or pillows, I finally realized I could make them not round…and they would serve the same purpose but have a little more joie de vivre!
